Reuben O'Callaghan

Reuben is a Christchurch based consultant specialising in analysis and project management of transformation/IT projects.

He works with clients to determine the ideal outcomes from their business processes, and then draws on his commercial experience and technical knowledge to provide reliable solutions and measurable results.

Reuben works effectively with business teams to creatively determine how objectives can be exceeded, often identifying opportunities for substantial improvements. His success at implementing change is due to thorough planning and consultation, and experience managing complex databases and IT systems.

On larger projects Reuben partners with other IT professionals to ensure a timely and cost effective outcome for his clients.

Reuben spends most of his spare time with his family, playing the piano, or fixing his hovercraft.

History

Since forming Streamline Consulting in 2013, Reuben has worked on a range of projects in sectors as diverse as healthcare, construction, R+D, manufacturing and public services. Reuben also spent time as the IT Manager of a nationwide construction company.

Prior to 2013 Reuben worked as a senior member of a software development team for five years managing new product development.

As well as being an experienced electronics and software engineer, his commercial background is backed by an MBA with distinction from University of Canterbury.

Past projects include development of advanced costing and procurement systems, transitioning construction sites to mobile technology, ERP configuration/implementation, rolling out scheduling tools, and development of numerous financial reports/dashboards.
